Dr. Alexandra Vorobeva

President, Managing Optometrist

Dr. Alexandra Vorobeva, President and Managing Optometrist Dr. Vorobeva created Trillium Eye Care to provide patients with a First Class Experience when visiting their eye doctor. Her philosophy is to deliver a personalized approach to eye care in an upscale environment where the expressed and unexpressed wishes of patients are achieved. As the Managing Optometrist, she oversees and focuses on each detail to ensure that every aspect of the optometry clinic and optical is optimized to provide a first-in-class patient experience. Because of these values, Trillium Eye Care has developed into is a leading private optometry practice which build relationships with its patients for life.
Dr. Vorobeva worked previously for Optivue, one of the largest and world-renowned eye care and surgery centers in Ohio where she handled complicated disease cases. She also joined the LASIK Vision Institute where she worked with a talented team of ophthalmologists conducting eye exams and pre and post care care of LASIK corrections.
Dr. Vorobeva completed her Doctorate in Optometry and Bachelor’s in Vision Science at the prestigious Nova Southeastern University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of North Florida.
Dr. Vorobeva enjoys being involved in the community. She volunteers as an eye doctor for the Special Olympics, Walk for Autism, and Local Vision Screening. During her free time, she enjoys boating, hiking, photography, and traveling.

Dr. D Swatch

President, Managing Optometrist

Dr. D Swatch, Associate Optometrist
Dr. Swatch obtained her Honors Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, completing her Doctorate in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2005.
Dr. Swatch has extensive clinical experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease, gained during her time at the Detroit VAMC Hospital and the Illinois Eye Institute. In her personal time, Dr. Swatch frequently attends lectures to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field, to be able to provide her patients with the highest quality eye care. Dr. Swatch enjoys travelling and baking, she is an avid interior design lover.

Dr. Phyllis Ho

President, Managing Optometrist

Dr. Phyllis Ho, Associate Optometrist
Dr. Ho regularly attends continuing education lectures and workshops to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in ophthalmic products and technology. She is excited to be providing eye care in her hometown and welcomes patients of all ages. She is bilingual in English and French and can communicate in Cantonese.
Dr. Phyllis Ho completed both her Honours Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. During her last year of study, she completed an ocular disease and therapeutics externship at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Centre in Kentucky, where she gained practical experience managing different eye diseases and conditions. She was valedictorian for her graduating class and graduated with the Margaret Hansen des Groseilliers Award and the CooperVision Contact Lens Award.
Dr. Ho enjoys taking an active role in the community. She was Class President of her optometry class and President of the Optometry Lions Club. She also participated in a volunteer eye care mission trip to Moldova in her second year of optometry school. Dr. Ho enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
